Somatic Movement Workshops Inspired by Body Mind Centering
Practice is based on bodymind centering
These workshops will give you the opportunity to go deep into exploring these three main centres of the body, The Gut, the Heart, and the Brain from a felt sense.
Teaching starts from a practical and concrete starting point in anatomy which allows you to connect with your body, yourself and to discover and explore movement and dance with yourself and others. Workshops can be a deeply meditative experience allowing you to quieten the mind and the nervous system and helping you to change habits of movement.
During the workshops you will feel more connected to the inner landscape of your body, Find grater possible range of motion with in the body, Feel supported from the inside, softer tissue areas with in the body, supporting the muscular skeletal frame. You will also understand and appreciate your own anatomy through lived experience in movement.
Workshops are for everyone who is interested to learn about their bodies and who interested to explore their bodies through movement.
The exploration during a Somatic Movement class can be applied into other movement practice (for example, dance, yoga, martial arts etc.) or into your daily life. No previous experience is required.
